Hole 5 – A straightaway par 5 with out of bounds and hazard to the left and a lake on the right. A straight tee shot will set up an easy second shot. The relatively small green is usually very firm and is protected on both sides by greenside bunkers.

Hole 6 – A deceptive little hole that can lull you to sleep, this short par 3 has a very large fairly flat green. A large oak guards the left side of the green and bunkers come into play on the right and in the back of the green.

Hole 7 – A challenging par 4 dogleg left. Long hitters may be tempted to cut the corner, but a straight shot is the safest route. The green slopes back to front and is usually quite firm. Shots that land short of the green normally do not bounce on.

Hole 11 – One of the few elevated tees, this long par 5 gets narrower as you get closer to the green. Avoid the tree on the right as you approach the green. The green itself is fairly flat, but very large – be sure to take enough club to get all the way back.

Hole 13 – A dogleg left par 4 with two lakes on the left side. The safe route is straight ahead toward the fairway bunker. Long hitters may be tempted to cut the corner and will be rewarded with a very short shot to the well-bunkered green. This is a very deep, narrow green with a “collection area” that will catch any shots that go long and left.

Hole 17 – This par 3 hole has a small lake on the left side, which can turn a relatively easy hole into a nightmare. Bunkers on the front right will catch those who steer too far away from the lake. Center of the green is the best choice unless you really like to gamble.
